LITTLE JIMMY

Little Jimmy loved his father dearly. Jimmy thought his father was the best father ever. Reasons being, Jimmy’s father was in the army. Unfortunately, Jimmy’s father never made it home for Christmas last year. He died in on an important mission. Jimmy and his mother grieved fro months. They would never forget the great man they loved. So, Jimmy’s mother went out and bought Jimmy a cadet uniform. Jimmy never wanted to forget his father, so he would wear the uniform, and pretend to be his father. Jimmy would build forts, arrange battles between his army of stuffed animals and his sister’s dolls.

One day, Jimmy was in an important battle. It was the battle that his father had died in. “Take that you scoundrels!” Jimmy cried. “We will never give up!” “FIRE!” Jimmy hollered. At that moment, his mother rushed in to see what was all the commotion. She realized jimmy was reenacting a war. She felt relieved. She believed jimmy was in trouble but realized he was only playing. “Jimmy!” his mother cried. “What did I tell you about yelling like that!” Jimmy looked down and twiddled with his hands. “Sorry mom.”, he whispered. “I was just trying to be dad.” His mother’s eyes softened. She would never forget the death of her husband. “It’s okay.”, she murmured. “Play on.” Jimmy smiled, and went back to the war. His mother stepped out of the room, and closed the door quietly. “Take that…and that!”, Jimmy cried. “You’ll never take us alive!” “We won…. we won!”, Jimmy roared. Jimmy jumped up and down with celebration. He stopped when he saw his reflection in the mirror. He smiled proudly. He saw his father’s figures standing beside him. His father smiled down at him proudly. “A true fighter!”, Jimmy murmured.

Myths & Mytholegy

Myths are stories that people make up. Such as vampires, ghosts, or Jack and the Bean Stalk. I love to hear myths all the time, there so much fun to hear. I love myths that are really scary, because i get nightmares.....which are sometimes fun for sometimes. But mostly, I love to hear myths because they tell you a tale of ancient history from a person's point of view. I think myths are more fun to learn about, then the ancient boring history from the textbooks!
